Joey Archer’s life has revolved around music since he was a child. He studied trombone and bass in High School and graduated in '98 with the nationally recognized John Phillip Sousa Award and the National Choral Award. He has continued since then to pursue musical education and performance. Joey has pursued a career in music both as a performer and a teacher. He has played in various musical genres including musical theater, studio recording and live performances. Currently he tours with Times Two Ministries both nationally and internationally. Additionally, Joey teaches music theory, private guitar and bass lessons while finishing his degree in music education.
His passion to help each student succeed is evident in his “down to earth” teaching style which is both patient and encouraging. “It is my goal to help each student learn not only the fundamentals of music and guitar or bass technique, but also to learn the songs and styles THEY want to learn.”
